Week 1 | Winter Season 2026
12 Jan 2026The Ibex Gaming Circuit Winter Season 2026 has officially kicked off. Week 1 featured the first Premier Division matches in Rocket League and Counter-Strike 2, alongside the debut of the new Open Divisions designed for entry-level competition.
With the off-season changes completed, new rosters on display, and several early statement performances, the Winter Season 2026 is already shaping up to be a very competitive season.
Rocket League Premier Division
Reigning champions Time2Esport (formerly TheSwissMonsters) opened their title defense in convincing fashion with a clean 3–0 sweep over LadiesFirst, immediately setting the pace at the top of the table.
Vision Gaming followed up with a 3–1 win against Addicted E-Sports, while Scythe of Seraph secured a 3–1 victory over Knapp On Money.
The series between DIVE Esports and mYinsanity ended in a very close 2–3 for mYinsanity, highlighting just how close the competition already is.
Counter-Strike 2 Premier Division
Week 1 in CS2 Premier delivered several tightly contested matches.
Addicted E-Sports claimed the only full win of the week with a 2–0 victory over Was gsehni da, while all other matchups ended in draws.
The on-stream series Simmer UME vs Broomers stood out in particular. Despite predictions favouring UME, Broomers mounted a remarkable comeback on Overpass, recovering from a 12–1 deficit to force a draw and underline the competitiveness of the league.
