The IGL short for Ibex Gaming League is a Swiss esport league.
For competitions marked with a specific region (e.g., Switzerland), at least 50% of each team must consist of players from that region. This means:
- For 5-player teams: minimum 3 players from the region
- For 3-4-player teams: minimum 2 players from the region
- For 2-player teams: minimum 1 player from the region
- For 1-player teams: the player must be from the region
Player counting is based on the players actively participating in the server/match, not the total number of players listed in the team roster.
For Switzerland specifically that atleast 50% needs to either be a Swiss national or posess atleast a permit B to be considered as a Swiss competitor. Competitions specific rules might apply.
Participants must be at least 16 years old to compete in our tournaments. Some tournaments may have higher age requirements depending on the game's rating and specific competition rules.
To register your team, visit the tournament page and click on the "Register Now" button. Follow the instructions to complete the registration process. Make sure all team members meet the eligibility criteria.
Our tournaments can have various formats, including single elimination, double elimination, round-robin, and Swiss format. The specific format for each tournament will be detailed on the tournament page.
You can contact the tournament organizers through the contact form on our website or by emailing support@ibexgaming.org. We are here to assist you with any questions or concerns.
In case of a dispute, teams should immediately contact the tournament admin. We have a dispute resolution process in place to ensure fair play and resolve any issues that may arise during the competition.
