Final Weeks of the Regular Season

27 Feb 2026

Ibex Gaming League Winter Season 2026 enters its decisive phase as the Premier Division wraps up weeks 6 and 7 and the playoff picture finally locks in.

Week 6: Nail‑biters and a show match

On the CS server, SOS ESPORTS x mYinsanity and Broomers delivered a tense 1-1 draw that kept all three playoff hopefuls MYSO, Broomers and Skeron’s Fun Crew within a single match point of each other. With Broomers already carrying the head‑to‑head tiebreak edge over both SKFC and MYSO, that split series quietly became a huge step toward their eventual top‑four finish. Every round mattered.

Rocket League gave us one of the most light‑hearted highlights of the split when a last‑minute forfeit opened the door for a spontaneous show match between mYinsanity and our caster lineup. Instead of downtime, viewers were treated to freestyle attempts, chaotic demos and a lot of on‑stream laughter as MYI leaned fully into the fun and made the most of the unexpected slot. The league wants to explicitly thank mYinsanity for jumping in on short notice and turning a scheduling issue into prime entertainment.

Week 7: Broomers clinch, Addicted bow out

The final CS week put Broomers and Addicted E‑Sports head‑to‑head for a de facto playoff decider, and it delivered on every expectation. Broomers edged out a 2-0 victory in the best‑of‑two, grinding out 16:12 on de_dust2 before closing 13:10 in game two, and with that secured their Premier Division playoff spot while eliminating Addicted from contention by a single match win. Given how tight the standings are around mid‑table, those map wins also padded Broomers’ match‑score difference tiebreaker, which could still prove vital deeper into the bracket.

On the Rocket League side, DIVE Esports and LadiesFirst fought over Premier Division survival in a direct relegation duel. DIVE held their nerve to stay above the automatic drop, condemning LadiesFirst to relegation, where their only path back into Premier now runs through the next Open Division qualifiers. As a result, DIVE will challenge EliteGamerZone, the current Open Division champions, for a 2027 Winter Season Premier slot, while in CS, "Was gsehni da" prepare to defend their own spot against Schwabübi in the relegation clash.

The Playoff spots are set and the teams ready to fight for their spot in the Grand Finals in Bern

Production upgrade: Live replays

Week 7 also marked a production milestone for the Swiss Ibex Gaming League broadcast. For the first time this split, the stream featured live in‑game replays, allowing us to instantly revisit the best moments of each round to give viewers at home a clearer look at the action. Expect these replay segments to remain a central feature of our playoff broadcasts.
