Bern Awaits the Swiss Esports Fans

Bern Awaits the Swiss Esports Fans

02 Mar 2026

The semi-finals are done – now all eyes are on the big offline finals weekend in Bern. After an intense Sunday across Rocket League and Counter-Strike, the stage is set for two heavyweight rematches in the Erupt Lounge.

Time 2 Esport vs VisionGaming – last season’s final, reloaded

The first Rocket League semi-final was already played on Saturday evening on Shine’s Twitch channel, where Time 2 Esport closed out a tight series against Addicted E‑Sports. T2’s clutch in the deciding moments showed exactly why they dominated the Winter Season and why their stacked roster is once again the team to beat.

On Sunday, VisionGaming swept mYinsanity 4–0, with MaKi and Co. living up to his “Demo King” nickname and the Swiss/Portuguese striker Zeko

reinforced by international talent Gnagflow06. This powerhouse trio was relentless in pressure, leading to more demolitions and car chaos than usual, as MYI tried everything to stay alive in the playoff race. VisionGaming, last season’s runner‑up, now gets a shot at revenge against the champion stack of T2 – again on LAN.

Feather and Simmer UME survive tense semi-finals

In CS, last season’s champions – now playing under the name Feather – started their semi-final with a statement win on Dust2 against Skeron’s Fun Crew. The defending champs then had to work hard on Inferno, where they fell behind by several rounds early before stabilising and closing the series 2–0.

On the mainstream, Simmer UME faced the Broomers in a clash between last season’s runners‑up and the ambitious "newcomers" with well-known players. The best‑of‑three went the full distance: UME opened with a 13:9 on Inferno, dropped Overpass 11:13, and then finished the job on Dust2 with a narrow 13:10 to take the series 2–1. With that, Feather and Simmer UME set up a final worthy of a LAN stage.

More highlights, more hype

For this playoff weekend, the production team is continuing to use its replay system to deliver instant highlight clips after every round and map. Spectacular demos, clutch moments, and aerial plays are quickly turned into short-form content, ready to be shared throughout the week on the league’s social channels – Instagram and now TikTok. This ensures fans who missed the live broadcasts can easily catch up on the most exciting plays ahead of the grand finals.

Finals weekend in Bern – be there live

Next Sunday, 08.03., the 3rd‑place matches and relegation series will be played off‑stream, so the crew can focus fully on preparing the big show for you in Bern. Community co‑streams for those games will be announced separately, but the real highlight follows a week later.

On Sunday, 15.03., the Ibex Gaming Circuit Winter Season 2026 culminates in the Erupt Lounge in Bern – open to everyone on‑site and, as usual, live on Twitch. Doors open at 11:00, giving fans time to grab a coffee, meet players, and soak in the LAN atmosphere before the action starts. At 12:00, the Rocket League best‑of‑7 between Ttime 2 Esport and VisionGaming kicks things off, followed at 14:00 by the Counter‑Strike best‑of‑5 between Feather and Simmer UME.

If you have the chance, come to the Erupt Lounge and experience the finals in person with both titles on the line – this is the one esports event this Winter Season you do not want to miss.
